Ask for credits. Tell us why.
Some projects do not fit a plan. A nonprofit campaign, a student film, a launch that needs forty variants in one week. Name an amount and a reason, and a person reads it — no sales call, no pitch deck.
Two fields, one decision.
Applications live in the customer portal, under Billing. You need an account, but any plan qualifies — including the free one.
Anything from 1 to 50,000 credits. Ask for what the project needs; a specific number reads better than a round guess.
Three to five hundred characters. What you are making, who it reaches, and why the plan does not cover it. Plain sentences beat a pitch.
Usually three business days. Approved credits land on your ledger with the reason credit_application and the application id attached.
The rules, in full
There are only four, and the form enforces all of them before it will submit.
Anything outside the range is rejected by the form. For more than 50,000, talk to sales instead — that is a volume conversation, not an application.
Short enough to read in one pass, long enough to explain the project. Empty and one-word reasons are declined without review.
A second application is rejected while the first is undecided. Withdraw the pending one from Billing if you need to change it.
Applying is free and a decline costs you nothing. You can apply again as soon as the previous one is decided.
We fund work, not experiments.
The strongest applications have a deadline, an audience and a reason the credits cannot come from a card. The weakest ask for a large number with no project attached.
Questions people ask before applying.
In the customer portal under Billing, once you are signed in. There is no public form — we need the application tied to an account so approved credits have somewhere to land.
Yes. Plan does not affect eligibility, and applying does not require a card on file.
Three business days is typical. You will see the outcome on Billing; the decision also fires application.decided to any ops webhook you have configured.
Withdraw the pending application from Billing and submit a new one. A second application while one is pending is rejected.
They behave like purchased credits — no expiry while your plan is active, spent after your monthly allowance.
Yes, as soon as the previous application is decided. Repeat requests for the same project are read against what you shipped with the last grant.
